Type of Investment
The primary investment options for obtaining Saint Kitts and Nevis citizenship are as follows:
Non-refundable contribution to the Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC). US$300,000 for a family of two, and US$350,000 for a family of four.
Non-refundable contribution to a Public Benefit Project, previously approved by the government, that benefits the country.
The minimum investment in real estate projects approved by the government. The investment must be maintained for a minimum of seven years.
The minimum investment in private real estate, (single-family private home). The investment must be maintained for a minimum of seven years.
Due Diligence Fees: Main applicant: US$10,000. Per family member aged 16 or above: US$7,500. Application Forms: US$250 per set of forms. Passport Fee: US$300 per passport.
In addition to the Due Diligence, Application Form and Passport fees outlined above, individuals applying for citizenship under the real estate investment option ($400,000 and $800,000) must also pay a Government Application Fee of US$50,000 for the main applicant or US$75,000 for applicant + spouse. Thereafter, a fee of US$10,000 shall apply for each additional dependent under 18 years old, and a fee of US$50,000 for each additional dependent over 18 years old.

All investors applying for Citizenship by Investment are now required to have a mandatory interview, either virtually or in person, at a location specified by the Citizenship by Investment Unit and approved by the Board of Governors. Interviews will be conducted either by the Unit itself or by an independent professional firm commissioned by the Citizenship by Investment Unit, who will also perform background due diligence checks.

Application Submission and Processing: The applicant must personally complete the government forms, obtained from authorized service providers, then submit the application to the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU), who then conduct thorough due diligence checks to ensure the integrity of the program. All applicants 16 years of age and above are required to undergo an interview, either virtually or in person.

Approval and Financial Obligations: Upon receiving approval-in-principle from the CIU, the applicant makes the necessary funds available for real estate investment, contribution to the Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC), government fees, and any other applicable charges.

Certificate of Registration and Passport Application: Once the financial obligations are fulfilled, the prime minister of St. Kitts and Nevis signs the certificate of registration, officially granting citizenship status to the applicant. The certificate must be collected in person in St. Kitts and Nevis or at a CIU-designated embassy. With the certificate of registration in hand, the applicant becomes eligible to apply for a St. Kitts and Nevis passport.
